Its scope is broad: providing technological diagnostics and engineering services; initiating research and development; and supporting the industrial transfer of acquired knowledge.

The Carnot ARTS Institute thus brings together 20 laboratories with human and material resources that make it a leading player in regional and national research. The complementarity of skills, the Institute has a wide range of resources to meet ambitious programmes.

The Carnot label
Created in 2006 in France, the Carnot label recognises the capability of research institutions and organisations to conduct research in partnership with companies. ARTS has benefited from the Carnot label since 2006. It was renewed in 2011 and 2016.
