Registrations
For students admitted to the first year (first enrollment at Arts et Métiers), you must first confirm your choice of school from your competition space (confirmation with a "definitive yes"). You will then receive a registration link by email fromArts et Métiers.
For other students (2nd and 3rd years), the re-registration email will only be sent after your course of study has been validated by the administrative services. Depending on your course of study, some of your classmates may receive the re-registration link before you. However, if you have not received an email 48 business hours before the official start of the academic year, please contact the registrar's office on your campus.
The registration portal may encounter problems when using Mozilla or Google Chrome web browsers. Please use Internet Explorer to complete the procedure.
If you are already using Internet Explorer, please try registering from another computer.
- Visit https://fc.ensam.eu/;
- Click on "Lost password" and request to recover your password using your ENSAM login (number format 2018-****). This number is provided when the registration file is complete.
- You will then receive a new activation code at your personal email address.
- Log back in to https://fc.ensam.eu/ and now click on "Account Activation."
Enter the activation code and your user ID (2018-****) received by email at your personal address.
- Choose a new personalized password
Your computer account is now active. You can now log in to ETRE > list of services > LISE tab to complete your registration process (log in using your 2018-*** ID + your new password).
Please log in to the link https://lise.ensam.eu/faces/Login.xhtml to proceed with registration.
The service is definitely experiencing a problem or overload. Please try again later.
Please complete your application. It will be finalized upon receipt of the scholarship notification.
Please do not register as a non-scholarship student unless otherwise advised by the registrar's office.
A specific field is available to enter your place and county of birth if you were born abroad.
Any file may be blocked and online payment prevented if you have not provided a permanent address and email address. This information is required to generate an Arts et Métiers email address.
You may not have selected the Credit Card icon on LISE to proceed with payment. Once you have checked the icon, the platform will redirect you to a page asking you to enter your credit card details.
Your username will change during the process.
When you log in for the first time, you will be asked to receive a password at your personal email address (the address you provided when you registered for the exam).
Once you have received your password and completed your file, you will receive a notification inviting you to activate your ENSAM computer account. Your ENSAM ID (2018-****) will then be used to log in to LISE. Your "school" email address (e.g., ***@ensam.eu) will now be your reference address and will be used for all future communications.
If a blank page appears on LISE when you access the payment page, it means that one of the fields required to calculate your fees has not been filled in correctly.
You will need to wait until the registrar's office declares your file "incomplete" before you can access the platform again and submit your documents.
Be sure to complete the procedure and confirm.
If the documents are added to the file without your confirmation, the registrar's office will not be notified of this new submission.
You receive the following error message: "Your LDAP password cannot be sent. Please contact your IT department to obtain it."
The password provided when you first logged in is only valid for a limited time.
Please contact your campus's registrar's office so that they can generate a new password for you.

Bachelor of Technology
The Bachelor of Technology can be found in the "Engineering Programs" section on Parcoursup under the name "ENSAM - Higher Diploma in Technology." You can apply for three locations (Angers, Bordeaux, Châlons-en-Champagne), but this counts as only one application.
In Lille, recruitment is organized by the STS CPI of partner high schools in the Hauts-de-France region (more information).
Each applicant chooses their campus when registering on Parcoursup.
The school year begins on September 4, 2023, for all first-year students.
The results have been available on Parcoursup since the end of May. You have the option to accept or decline admission. The process ends in August.
The registration guide, which contains all the information you need, will be sent to you by email when you complete your administrative registration.

General engineer
You will receive an email during the summer providing you with a link to register online. You must first pay your student and campus contribution (CVEC) on the website https://cvec.etudiant.gouv.fr/. You will then need to complete and confirm your registration by the first day of the academic year at the latest. You will need to provide supporting documents, so don't leave it until the last minute. Once you have received confirmation of your admission, visit the news page for your assigned campus (Preparing for the start of the academic year at Arts et Métiers | Arts et métiers artsetmetiers.fr) to find out about any specific procedures for that campus.
The first year must be spent at one of our campuses outside Paris.
Your assignment is primarily based on your original field of study (CPGE, ATS, DUT/BTS, etc.).
Criteria such as your ranking in the competitive entrance exam, your original institution, your order of preference for Arts et Métierscampuses Arts et Métiersare also decisive.
No changes to assignments will be accepted except in cases of justified force majeure. All requests for changes to assignments must be made via the assignment interface before 8 p.m. on August 19.

No! Arts et Métiers opted for diversified recruitment. First-year courses are adapted according to the recruitment streams. For holders of a DUT or BTS who already have professional experience, the first-year internship is replaced by additional courses.
The number of female students at Arts et Métiers steadily increasing over the past five years.
At the start of the 2020 academic year, they represented 16% of the incoming class. The wide range of courses on offer allows each student to flourish in their chosen field.
In addition, large companies promote gender diversity in their teams. Female engineers are therefore particularly sought after in the job market.
Finally, Arts et Métiers involved with numerous associations in this field.

The administrative start date is set for Monday, September 1, 2025, for all first-year students.
Mechanical engineering (design, mechanical construction, materials science, modeling, etc.), energy engineering (energy transfer, sensors, networks, and electrical energy conversion, etc.), and industrial engineering (processes and means of production, system design, industrialization, etc.) are complemented by language learning, management (business organization and management, risk management, etc.), and professional scenarios (business projects, internships, etc.).
All of these courses are common to both the first and second years and are taught at all Arts et Métiers campuses. Students have the option of spending the second semester of their second year at a partner institution abroad.
In the third year, students choose between several options depending on their career plans: dual degree programs in France or abroad, third-year specializations, national Master's programs (research-oriented), etc.
At the end of their studies, students will be awarded the Arts et Métiers engineering degree Arts et Métiers subject to their exam results).
International experience (internship or academic exchange) is mandatory for graduation.
Each student can apply for one of 101 dual degree programs or 70 exchange semesters with international institutions. There are approximately 650 places available each year in 40 countries. The second-year internship or final-year project (third year) can also be completed abroad.
Arts et Métiers engineers in three main fields: mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, and energy engineering. The engineering degree from the Arts et Métiers Grande Ecole Program Arts et Métiers a generalist degree. It provides access to many professions and sectors of activity. The automotive, rail, aerospace, and naval industries, as well as the energy sector, are the sectors that recruit the most Arts et Métiers engineers.
This ranking changes each year depending on the number of admitted candidates who choose Arts et Métiers.
Based on recent years:
• PT stream: between 900th and 1000th
• MP track: between 700th and 800th
• PC stream: between 400th and 500th
• PSI stream: between 1300th and 1400th
• TSI stream: between 100th and 120th place
• ATS stream: not available due to changes this year.

The apprenticeship program provides access, through an apprenticeship contract (alternating between school and work, with a paid employment contract throughout the training period), to the exact same diploma as the student program.
The training takes place on the Angers campus (more information).
Arts et Métiers an agreement in 2011 with the Ministry of Defense to train its future infrastructure engineers. This program lasts four years. The first year consists of initial military officer training. The officer cadet then spends three years studying for a traditional general engineering degree at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers .
Practical life
The school provides students with accommodation at all of these sites, with the help of the Société des Ingénieurs Arts et Métiers. Monthly rent varies between approximately €125 and €600 depending on the city. Students are eligible for housing assistance (APL).

Arts et Métiers all hazing practices. The purpose of orientation weeks is to introduce new students to the school's values (solidarity, fraternity, and mutual aid). A tripartite charter has been in place for over 10 years between the administration, student representatives, and the Société des Ingénieurs Arts et Métiers alumni association), in which each party commits to ensuring that orientation weeks run smoothly. The administration is always available to listen to new students.
Arts et Métiers a public institution. Tuition fees are equivalent to university fees (€608 for the 2020-2021 academic year, free for IMI students and apprentices). The contribution to student and campus life (CVEC) is €92. Since the start of the 2018 academic year, students have been exempt from Social Security contributions. All students can apply for a state grant via the CROUS and/or an interest-free loan (0% interest rate) granted by the Société des Ingénieurs Arts et Métiers (alumni association).
The Student Union offers a wide range of sporting, humanitarian, cultural, and festive activities on each campus.
